Shipping and Transport
All orders are subject to KAYND's General Terms and Conditions (GTC). The following shipping information supplements the GTC and contains additional information regarding delivery, collection, and shipping.
All orders are generally shipped to addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
For deliveries to the regions of Aargau, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden, Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt, Bern, Glarus, Lucerne, Obwalden, Schaffhausen, Nidwalden, Solothurn, Schwyz, St. Gallen, Thurgau, Uri, Zug, Zurich, a flat delivery fee of CHF 350 will be charged.
Deliveries to regions outside these cantons are made upon request and are subject to individually calculated delivery costs.
Collection takes place at the showroom at Hinterbergstrasse 15 in 6330 Cham. As soon as the goods are ready for collection, the customer will be informed of the available collection times or a collection appointment will be arranged.
An agreed delivery will be made by commissioned transport companies, our own employees, by post or by a courier service.
Delivery is generally made to the point of use (e.g., into your apartment), provided access is possible under normal circumstances. Please inform us in advance if there are any special circumstances that could complicate transport, for example:
- poor access
- long walkways
- narrow or obstructed stairwells
- small lift systems
- necessary equipment such as facade lifts
The customer shall bear any additional costs if extra expenses are incurred for the delivery.
Delivery includes only transport to the point of use. Assembly work, as well as the removal of old products or packaging material, are not included in the delivery unless otherwise agreed.
If assembly has been agreed upon, it will only be carried out to the extent that the structural conditions allow for it with reasonable effort. Lighting fixtures and electrical installations are excluded from assembly unless expressly agreed upon in writing.
International deliveries are possible upon request. Delivery terms and shipping costs will be agreed upon individually.
Upon receipt of the delivery, the packaging should be inspected for visible damage as soon as possible.
Any damage to the packaging must be reported immediately, but no later than three days after receipt of the delivery.
If the packaging appears undamaged but the contents are damaged, any defects must be reported immediately, but no later than three days after receipt.
In both cases, photos of the damaged goods and the packaging must be submitted. The shipping carton and packaging material must be kept until the case is closed.
